Frequently asked questions
How do I list a vehicle?+
Sign in, add the vehicle with its registration, photos and details, and publish it. Private sellers and dealers both list from the same account; dealers also get a branded dealer profile page.
Where do buyer enquiries go?+
Enquiries land in your enquiry inbox with the vehicle attached, and you also get an email when one arrives. In the mobile app they are under Enquiries.
What is the MotorFile link on a listing?+
Every listing carries the registration, so a buyer can open that vehicle's MotorFile history at mymotorfile.com. MotorFile shows what the official DVLA and DVSA records say; it does not hold its own copy.
Can I save cars and follow dealers?+
Yes. Signed-in buyers can save vehicles and browse dealer profiles in the web app and the mobile app (Saved and Dealers tabs).
How do I delete my account?+
In the mobile app open the Account tab and choose Delete account. You can also start it from bsaph.com/delete-account, or email [email protected]. That page explains what is deleted, what is kept where the law requires it, and the timings.
